About
Jeehong Kim is a pioneering researcher whose work bridges two seemingly distinct fields: robotic surgery for head and neck cancer and mechanical design for rescue robotics. In head and neck oncology, Kim has made transformative contributions by demonstrating that transoral robotic surgery (TORS) alone—without adjuvant radiotherapy or chemotherapy—can achieve excellent quality-of-life outcomes for patients with oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
