About
Hiromitsu Sugawara is a pioneering thoracic surgeon whose work has advanced the frontiers of minimally invasive lung cancer surgery. His primary research focus is the development and refinement of robotic-assisted thoracoscopic techniques for major lung resections. Sugawara’s major contributions lie in demonstrating the feasibility and safety of integrating advanced technologies into the operating room.
