About

Dr. Haiyue Tan is a leading climate modeler whose work has profoundly advanced our understanding of aerosol-climate interactions. As a key developer of the Beijing Climate Center Earth System Model version 1 (BCC-ESM1), Tan has been instrumental in creating one of China’s first fully coupled Earth system models with interactive atmospheric chemistry and aerosols.
