Dr. Gerd Neidhart is a pioneering cardiothoracic surgeon whose work has been instrumental in advancing minimally invasive and robotic-assisted cardiac surgery. His research focuses on the development and refinement of totally endoscopic coronary artery bypass (TECAB) procedures, particularly the use of bilateral internal thoracic artery grafting.
