About
George Baciu is a versatile computer scientist whose research spans interactive computer graphics, robotics simulation, and cognitive computing. He is perhaps best known for developing RECODE, an innovative image-based collision detection algorithm introduced in 1999 that challenged the field's reliance on traditional geometric object-space methods.
