About
Francesco Sozzi is a pioneering urologic surgeon whose research centers on refining robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) to improve patient outcomes, particularly in urinary continence recovery. His most impactful work, with 266 citations, demonstrates that the Retzius-sparing approach for RARP has a manageable learning curve and delivers excellent oncologic and functional results in the first 200 patients with at least one year of follow-up.
