About
Eiichi Tsuda is a leading figure in orthopaedic biomechanics and rehabilitation robotics, whose career bridges foundational knee surgery research with cutting-edge neurorehabilitation. His seminal work on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction—particularly the landmark 2003 study comparing femoral tunnel placement at the 10 o’clock versus 11 o’clock positions (706 citations)—established evidence-based guidelines for restoring knee stability under rotational loads.
