About
David Medland is a leading figure in atmospheric radiometry, whose work has fundamentally advanced the precision of climate monitoring. His primary research focuses on the development and application of SI-traceable spectroradiometry to measure key atmospheric properties, most notably aerosol optical depth (AOD). Medland’s major contribution lies in bridging the gap between laboratory metrology and field-based atmospheric science.
