Christina Fotopoulou is a prominent gynecologic oncologist whose research has made significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of borderline ovarian tumors (BOT) and early-stage cervical cancer. Through her leadership in landmark multicenter studies, particularly the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Gynaekologische Onkologie (AGO) ROBOT study, she has helped reshape clinical approaches to BOT management, examining how age, surgical staging, and serum CA125 levels influence prognosis and patient outcomes across hundreds of cases.
