About
Chae‐Seo Rhee is a leading otolaryngologist and sleep surgeon whose research centers on the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), with a particular focus on the tongue base and upper airway anatomy. Her landmark study, "Radiographic and histologic characterization of tongue base tissues obtained by transoral robotic surgery in patients with obstructive sleep apnea" (2018), pioneered the integration of transoral robotic surgery (TORS) with detailed tissue analysis.
