About

Beidou Zhang is a leading atmospheric scientist whose research centers on aerosol optical properties, radiative forcing, and the complex interactions between air pollution and climate in semi-arid regions. Her work provides critical insights into how different aerosol types—from anthropogenic pollution to mineral dust—influence the Earth’s energy balance.
