About

Beat Knecht is a leading researcher in pediatric neurorehabilitation, with a primary focus on robotic-assisted locomotor training for children with central gait impairments. His seminal work has demonstrated that intensive, task-specific training using a driven gait orthosis can significantly improve walking and standing performance in children and adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP).
