Andreia Pinto Costa is a leading researcher at the intersection of social robotics and autism intervention, whose work demonstrates how carefully designed human-robot interaction can support neurodiverse children. Her primary research focuses on using socially assistive robots—particularly the QTrobot—to improve attention, imitation, and emotional abilities in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
