About
Zhexu Liu is a precision engineering researcher whose work centers on industrial metrology and robotic positioning accuracy. His most influential contribution addresses a critical challenge in manufacturing: improving the absolute positioning accuracy of industrial robots. In his highly cited 2013 paper, Liu developed and validated a mathematical model for integrating the workspace Measuring and Positioning System (wMPS)—a large-scale distributed metrology system developed at Tianjin University—with industrial robots.
