Yves Aigrain is a pioneering figure in pediatric urology, best known for transforming the surgical management of kidney conditions in children through minimally invasive techniques. His core research focuses on laparoscopic and robot-assisted renal surgery, with a particular emphasis on the retroperitoneal approach—a method that accesses the kidney from the back, avoiding the abdominal cavity and reducing recovery time.
