Steven Swanson is a pioneering figure in thoracic surgery whose work has fundamentally shaped the landscape of minimally invasive lung cancer treatment. His research centers on two critical areas: advancing robotic-assisted surgical techniques and comparing their outcomes against conventional approaches, and evaluating patient-centered outcomes in early-stage lung cancer management.
