John A. Howington has fundamentally advanced the field of thoracic surgery through his pioneering work in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. His research focuses on comparing surgical outcomes for lung cancer and esophageal disorders, with a particular emphasis on improving patient quality of life.
