Igor Tsaur is a pioneering urologic surgeon and researcher whose work centers on advancing minimally invasive and robot-assisted surgical techniques for complex urological conditions. His major contributions include establishing the safety and efficacy of robot-assisted simple prostatectomy (RASP) as a viable alternative to open surgery for large benign prostatic hyperplasia, with his landmark 2020 study garnering 49 citations.
