About
Charalampia Karakechagia is an emerging researcher at the intersection of educational technology, developmental psychology, and human-robot interaction. Her work focuses on how social robots—particularly the NAO robot—can support the development of socio-emotional and cognitive skills in preschool-aged children. In her most cited study, she investigates the correlation between interactions with social robots and children’s abilities in emotion recognition, self-regulation, working memory, phonological awareness, and grapheme-phoneme correspondence.
