Caroline Maza is a structural biologist whose research centers on bacterial protein function and the discovery of novel antibacterial targets. Her most cited work, the 2005 study “Crystal structure of *Escherichia coli* DkgA, a broad‐specificity aldo‐keto reductase,” has garnered 20 citations and exemplifies her contribution to the Structural and Functional Genomics program (BIGS).
