About
Ali Hardan is a researcher focused on agricultural emissions, particularly enteric methane (CH₄) from dairy cattle. Their work sits at the intersection of animal science, environmental monitoring, and signal processing. Hardan’s major contributions include developing novel methods to detect methane eructation (burping) peaks in dairy cows during robotic milking, using signal processing to differentiate true emission events from background noise.
