Abstract

Robot Applications have become ubiquitous from Warehouse Packaging to Cleaning to even Military applications and Surgical Procedures; hence in this research we have created one further area where Robots can help/assist human endeavors which is in Physiotherapy Recovery. We created a framework/methodology for using Robots to aid in a Physiotherapy Recovery Session for Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries. Also, by using a Synthetic dataset, we created a simulation whereby a Recommendation model could be built which can further expand the research scope. This method for Physiotherapy Rehabilitation using robots has proven to be more cost effective, and has the potential to lead to increased patient satisfaction and shorter wait times.
