Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics are two rapidly developing fields in the modern world. The use of robotics with AI is beneficial in a multitude of industries and businesses. Robots developed in conjunction with AI have a number of benefits over humans such as reduction in errors, bias-free operation, continuous operation unaffected by fatigue, etc. Owing to these advantages, AI-powered robots are expected to replace a number of jobs in the future. Although, that is not to say that the robots are cost-effective; installation, maintenance, and restoration expenses are higher and can skyrocket. In the future, we can have advancements in smart homes where AI can play a more significant role. One of the key challenges in robotics is ensuring the robots are easy to utilise. Robots can only be trusted if they operate efficiently while minimizing unexpected downtime. Protection of security and privacy are the two main criteria which have an impact on trust. People are not willing to disclose their information as long as there are privacy concerns. Thus, maintaining trust in robots requires constant reassurance regarding data security and privacy.
