Abstract
This paper describes improvement of picking ability for picking robot of sweet pepper in greenhouse horticulture. The improved lighting system substituted LED for fluorescent that was located around the CCD camera. These LED are several colors, white, blue, yellow, red, and so on. On these colors LED, the recognition experiments that are to distinguish between fruit and leave, were carried out. In the result of experiments, the recognition of the white LED lighting system and the blue LED lighting system had features.
