Abstract
Using entertaining robotic pets in home healthcare monitoring is the new idea featured in our research project reported in this paper. The structure, features and control system of this system are presented, which can make sure that the robot pet reliably accomplishes the vital physiological data collection, data transmission and healthcare tasks with strong situation adaptability, low cost and high robustness.
