Abstract

According to the requirements of remote operation for searching radiation source robot, a remote terminal is designed. The micro controller with joysticks and buttons are used as input devices of remote terminal, and a tablet computer of the remote is the CPU for obtaining the commends from the micro controller, sending the commends to the mobile robot displaying the information from the mobile robot. Experiment results show that, the robot arm, mobile robot and PTZ can be controlled by the remote terminal, and the remote terminal can display the pictures and other information from the mobile robot. Actual operating results show that the remote terminal has good stability, high reliability, friendly man-machine interface, and easy operation, and it meets the requirements of the searching radiation source robot.
