Development of the Tele-control Robot for Nuclear Detection in Intense Radiation Environment

Abstract
A kind of self- developed tele- control robot which can work in intense radiation environmental is introduced. The robot takes six- wheel drive walking mechanical structure,using medium- scale integration chip combined with external radiation shielding to design radiation resistance circuit,equipped with three degrees of freedom electric Yuntai and detection devices. The experimental study is done by using60 Co source,the result shows that the robot can in real time transmit the situation scene image and radiation information to the remote control computer in environmental gamma rate of 94 Gy / h. This research can provide equipment support for nuclear emergency or nuclear facilities decommissioning.
