Abstract
In order to solve the problem of diagnosing welding robots blindly, improving the efficiency of diagnosis and reliability analysis of welding robots, the fault tree analysis (FTA) was introduced in the fault diagnosis of welding robots in practical item. Based on analyzing the trait of fault trees diagnosis and studying the failure symptoms, the fault tree of feeding wire unit of welding robots as an example was discussed, and its qualitative quantitative evaluation was given. The result shows that this method is in-tuitional and simple, and has good maneuverability and maintainability. So it has great academic and applied value.
