Abstract
The vision system for an autonomous robotic vehicle is described in detail. The vision system utilizes fuzzy logic and artificial neural network technologies. This go-cart sized vehicle guided itself through an obstacle course in an international competition held at Disney World mid-July of 1996. A brief history of the competition an overview of the vehicle itself and the vision system's achievements are also discussed.
