Abstract

Agriculture is one of the most important industries for providing fuel for our survival. Robots are playing a vital role in the discipline of agriculture for farming autonomously. This paper proposes the improvement of an automatic fruit harvesting bot by the use of a colour sensor, a robot arm, and a line following robot. Bot harvesting offers a solution to reduce labour charges, optimize harvest scheduling, enable selective harvesting, and improve operational performance. These attributes permit the users of robot harvesters to maximize production performance and earnings. A multipurpose solar powered, flexible, automated robot with 4 Degrees of Freedom (DoF) in spatial movement which is effective and also environment friendly.
