Abstract
The degree of broken wire in cable of cable-stayed bridge is one of the important indexes to judge the replacement of cable. In order to ensure the safety of bridge, it is very important to detect the broken wire regularly. This paper studies the magnetic detection in the case of spiral climb. In this paper, based on the principle of magnetic flux leakage detection, an experimental platform is built in the laboratory to detect the broken wire in the cable of cable-stayed bridge. The excitation magnetic circuit is analyzed and the magnetic circuit design is optimized. The structure of exciter is determined through finite element simulation analysis, and the application analysis of genetic algorithm in magnetic flux leakage signal is deeply optimized, and the damage degree of the wire rope is quantified. The experimental results show that the measured broken wire degree of wire rope is equivalent to the actual broken wire degree of wire rope, which achieves the purpose of qualitative identification of broken wire damage location of wire rope, and the accuracy of quantitative identification of broken wire number of wire rope is 95.23%, which meets the requirements of cable broken wire detection.
