Abstract

The main research work of this paper is: based on a 6-DOF industrial robot model, the finite element software ABAQUS is used to analyze the statics and modal characteristics of the model. Static analysis gives the stress, strain and deformation distribution. Based on the simulation results, the dangerous stress point are found, which provide an effective reference for the design and optimization of industrial robot.
