Abstract

Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) are utilitarian autonomous vehicles that navigate by sensing the environment; this is in contrast to the traditional automated guided vehicles (AGV) which follow predefined paths. This work presents the development and architecture of an industrial AMR for mixed indoor and outdoor navigation.
