Robotic cystgastrostomy and transgastric pancreatic debridement

Abstract

Abstract: Robotic stapled cystgastrostomy and pancreatic debridement as a surgical technique is minimally described in the literature. This paper describes a robotic technique that includes a thorough, ultrasound guided pancreatic debridement in combination with a stapled cystgastrostomy in patients with walled off pancreatic necrosis. We report that pancreatic debridement can be employed for pancreatic pseudocyst in patients with a history of pancreatitis using robotic technique.
