Abstract

The study analyses the significance of smart city initiatives and emphasizes the need for various entities, including universities, to embrace smart practices. This study focuses on how universities can become "smart" by implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using UiPath to streamline the student club enrollment process. The RPA model aims to reduce ecological footprint through a paperless approach, automate eligibility checks, and provide a personalized experience for students and club advisors. The objectives include enhancing efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and promoting sustainable practices. The study outlines a comprehensive methodology for implementing the RPA model, ensuring integration with existing IT infrastructure and compliance with data protection regulations. The implications of this eco-friendly initiative include cost savings, improved student experience, and alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study demonstrates the transformative potential of RPA in creating a greener, more efficient, and student-centric university environment, ultimately inspiring environmentally conscious leaders.
