Abstract
According to analyzing the optimum path planning of the arc welding robot.This paper presents a new gene insertion greedy genetic algorithm to optimize the global path planning of the arc welding robot.The algorithm can be used in the multi-joint arc welding robot and also be used in the robot off-line programming.
