Abstract

Currently, the demand for automatic evisceration devices has been increasing in the poultry slaughter industry. Based on the working principle of poultry evisceration operation, the automatic poultry evisceration machine is designed in this study. By introducing machine vision technology and robots, the poultry evisceration machine meets the actual needs for poultry evisceration in China. The poultry incisions are positioned by threshold segmentation and edge detection technology, which can guide the manipulator to evisceration for poultry. The positioning accuracy of this algorithm for poultry incision reaches 95.3%, which shows that this method can meet the requirements of automatic poultry evisceration. The design of this device can provide technical reference for the poultry automated slaughter industry.
