Research situation,problems and solutions of fruit-vegetable picking robots

Abstract

To solve the actual problems in agricultural picking,the research and application of fruit and vegetable picking robots has become an urgent in need.The current situation of research on fruit and vegetable picking robot at home and broad is summarized as well as the research achievement for some typical fruit and vegetable picking robots is introduced in this paper.Through analyzing these picking robots,several factors that restrict the commercialization of fruit and vegetable picking robots have been pointed out: the picking efficiency,the success rate and the manufacture cost.Then,the solutions to these problems are proposed,the future research direction for picking robots is also pointed out.
