Abstract

A design of data representation for information sharing for rescue activities is proposed. Collecting and sharing disaster information about damaged area is the most important activity to support decision-making in rescue processes. We have been designing and implementing a standard protocol (MISP) and simple database systems (DaRuMa) for this purpose. In order to utilize these facilities, we are designing a standard format of sensing data taken by rescue robots and time representation to denote uncertain/ambiguous time-periods, both of which are essential core of the rescue information sharing. We also show the flexibilities and open-ness of proposed frameworks and representation by sample tools and integrated rescue information systems
