Abstract
We have developed multi-probe near-field antenna measurement system using optical-fiber link system. Our developed optical fiber link system consists of a super luminescent diode, zero-biased optical reflection-type electro absorptive modulators (EAM), coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) multiplexers and photodiodes. Our developed near-field antenna measurement system consists of WR-28 open ended waveguide probes (OEWG), an optical fiber link system and 6-axis 1 m length arm vertical articulated robot. Our system can be applied to multi OEWG probes with EAM. In this paper, we show frequency characteristics of our system and a measured near field frequency responses for a WR-28 standard gain horn antenna using OEWGs up to 30 GHz.
