Abstract
In article number 1903872, Jianguo Guan, Martin Pumera, and co-workers report a 3D-printed millimeter-scale motor (3DP-motor) that moves fast over a long range (tens of meters) through the Marangoni effect induced by asymmetrically releasing ethanol, which acts as the propellant. During its navigation, the 3DP-motor can carry and slowly release TiO2/Pt Janus micromotors that can be catalytically activated and propelled by light illumination, moving locally for tens of millimeters while acting as photodegradation agents.
