Abstract
This paper covers a wireless power transfer (WPT) where its source coil can alternatively transfer AC power and DC force to micro-robot system. The generated AC and DC magnetic field is used as power and propulsion force for the micro-robot with high power transfer efficiency. Through perpendicular 3-axis coils which can generate magnetic fields in various directions, the degrees of freedom (DOF) for the micro-robot are also increased.
