Abstract

GIS (Geographic Information System) can efficiently process, calculate, and analyze various data and geographic information in computers, which plays an important role in various work involving geographic location or spatial information. GIS technology first started in the 1970s. With the development of technology, a system has gradually been established in industries such as public security patrols, logistics transportation, archaeological exploration, and urban construction. This article first combined Artificial Intelligence (AI) with traditional GIS, and attempted to use the powerful computing power of AI to assist GIS systems. This article intended to use Deep Learning (DL) technology to construct a PyTorch DL framework (a Python based learning library), so as to apply to some experimental robots to perform simple trajectory walking and collect their information in the experiment. In the end, robots loaded with DL technology modules were able to better find directions and avoid collisions in experiments, and it was concluded that DL technology improved the computational power of DBN (a GIS algorithm) involved in robot control.
