Prospect of Solar-Energy-Pumped-Laser-Driven Vehicles Powered by Water

Abstract

We propose various concept driving automobile, robot, ship, airship and airplane by use of water‐powered laser propulsion. This can be combined with solar‐energy pumped laser and transporting process by use of airships and other ground or space based stations. Since the amplified solar energy is transported in a form of cw(continuous wave) laser, it can be transported in a long distance without causing any harm to vaporize the objects that can be shot by chance along the passage of transporting beams.
