Abstract
This tutorial will give an introduction to the LEGO Mindstorm Robotic system. The participants will build a small robot and program it to perform simple functions in the hands-on portion of the tutorial. Presenters will then share their experience teaching an Introduction to Computer Systems class using LEGO robotics. After completing this tutorial, participants should have the basic concepts and resources to explore the possibility of using LEGO robotics in teaching introductory classes.
