Abstract
Sound source localization in three-dimensional space refers to using acoustic sensors to collect sound source information combining localization algorithms to identify the distance and direction of the sound source. Sound source localization technology is widely used in industrial and intelligent robotics fields, which greatly facilitates people's daily life. This paper summarizes the key technologies of sound source localization in the past five years, including time difference of arrival, direction of arrival, and neural network-based localization algorithms. In addition to the advantages and disadvantages of these methods, the factors affecting the localization accuracy are also analyzed. Finally, the paper introduces a series of challenges of sound source localization in 3-D space and the problems that need to be solved for future development.
