Abstract

The purpose of this project is to eliminate the drawbacks of traditional tank sludge cleaning operations. It is a model of automated tank cleaning robot made to clean tanks automatically rather than by manual cleaning. The cleaning robot, water jet, suction pump, sensors, linear movement ladder, rotational arrangement, and other essential components are included in the prototype design. The tank wall and base is cleaned by this robot. The linear slider method used to send the robot inside the tank and the rotational configuration used to clean inside the tank are the foundations upon which it was constructed. Cleaning is performed using water jet and cleaning brush. Finally, together with the unclean water, the suction pump sucks the sludge deposits. The prototype will initially be tested with the cleaning of domestic water tanks.
