Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in implant dentistry has emerged as a transformative approach, enhancing precision, efficiency, and predictability across various stages of treatment. This narrative review explores the utilization of AI in implant dentistry, emphasizing its role in diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical execution, and post-operative care. AI-based technologies, such as machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and computer vision, are being increasingly utilized to interpret diagnostic imaging, predict implant outcomes, and customize treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs. Moreover, the review highlights advancements in AI-driven robotic systems, virtual reality (VR) tools, and augmented reality (AR) platforms, revolutionizing surgical precision and clinician training. Ethical considerations, integration challenges, and future AI prospects in implant dentistry are also discussed to provide a comprehensive overview. This review underscores AI's potential to redefine clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes, offering insights into its applications and limitations in contemporary dental practice.
