Abstract

This paper presents a novel design of robotics device that is able to provide suitable gait rehabilitation to the elder or people after sustaining injury or disability. This device is being developed as other common lower extremity exoskeleton but integrated with IoT technique. Taking advantages of computing and communication, the physical therapists may guide their patients with gait training even far from them. Moreover, the data gathered from built-in sensors in the exoskeleton through the network helps to create a rehabilitation strategy and reconfigure medical resources based on patients' conditions quickly and remotely.
