Abstract
In the research presented in this paper, we investigate the architectonic potential of additive digital fabrication in timber construction through robotic processes. The goal of the project was to learn from traditional building techniques and to translate the cultural knowledge about performance requirements such as constructive weather protection and structure for todayÂs tools and digital design systems.
